Production Trainer

Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for the training and assessment within the production operation areas. This includes the training and accreditation of MHE certification within the factory & distribution, and delivery of health & safety briefs across site:
• Deliver training in line with current procedures and assess employee task competence while adhering to all H&S policies and procedures.
• Support in development/review of training resources, including SOPs, risk assessments and competence documents.
• Deliver MHE training for all production and Distribution areas, as and when required.
• Deliver TBT and safety briefings to all production areas.
• Be able to adapt training skills and methods to suit individual learning styles.
• Hold regular training and assessment meetings with Line Manager and/or Training Co-ordinator.
• Report any issues/problems to Line Manager and/or Training Co-ordinator.
• Undertake any training requirements in relation to procedures/equipment introduced onto site
This role is based onsite at Doncaster. Full-time, operating on 8-hour Monday to Friday working and a total of 40 hours per week.
Requirements:
EDUCATION REQUIRED
Minimum:
· GCSE English grade 4/5 or Level 2 equivalent
Desirable:
Willing to work towards:
· L3 Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (CAVA)
· L3 Award in Education and Training (PTLLS)
· MHE instructor’s certificate
KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
· Basic knowledge of assembly equipment
· Health and Safety processes and practices
· Quality Standards
· Good knowledge of the production processes within the Manufacturing sector
· Basic PC skills
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
· Experience of operating all assembly equipment
· Experience of the traceability process
· Natural ability to motivate individuals in an ever-changing environment
· Effective organisational skills
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Basic Microsoft Word and excel skills
· Experience of operating MHE equipment
Attitude Required:
· Must be self-motivated and self-starting
· Must demonstrate a positive and enthusiastic attitude to the attainment of objectives
